BeneSphera™ HCV Microwell ELISA (IHF) is an in vitro, enzyme immuno assay for the qualitative determination of antibodies to Hepatitis C Virus in human serum or plasma.
To evaluate specificity of the BeneSphera™ HCV a total of 1500 samples were tested. All these samples were collected from the normal donors. Out of 1500 samples, 10 samples were found to be positive with BeneSphera™ HCV . The specificity of the BeneSphera™ HCV was thus found to be 99,3%.
The sensitivity of the BeneSphera™ HCV against tested commercially available HCV panels and samples obtained from clinical sites.
To test reproducibility of BeneSphera™ HCV, three plates from three production batches each were randomly selected and tested against a Q.C. panel of HCV positive and negative samples.
